Portugal Golden Visa: List of Open-Ended Funds 🇵🇹
Since 2023, fund investments have become the most popular route to qualify for the Portuguese Golden Visa.
And given the uncertainty about the the proposed changes to the Nationality Law (which may increase the time to qualify for citizenship to 10 years), it’s probably for the better to invest in a fund where you can easily sell or liquidate your investment at any time.
Open-ended funds fit this bill. They are often mutual funds invested in liquid assets (such as listed equities and bonds) where you can redeem your investment at the current market price at any time. Currently, 7 out of the 45 funds listed on Nomad Gate are open-ended.
