This is a continuously updated list of investment funds that meets the criteria for investors who are applying for the Golden Visa in Portugal.
⚠️ Important update: Since late 2023, only investments into funds that do not invest in real estate (directly or indirectly) still qualify for the Golden Visa. Since it’s still unclear exactly where the line will be drawn, please make sure to get legal advice if considering a fund that’s somewhat related to real estate.
In the past few years the “venture capital” investment fund option has gained a lot of popularity among Portugal Golden Visa investors, but it has been challenging to get a good overview over all the investment funds that are available in Portugal and that qualifies for the Golden Visa.
This crowdsourced list of GV approved investment funds is our attempt at fixing this situation. It is based on information received from community members or certifications by the fund representatives that the funds meet the requirements for Golden Visa eligibility. However, Nomad Gate is in no position to guarantee the accuracy of the information contained here, so please do your own due diligence together with your legal representatives or other qualified advisors.
We cannot list more than some basic headline facts about each fund in public and we are not in the business of providing any kind of investment or financial advice, so you’ll need to reach out to fund representatives directly if you want more information.
