In an effort to protect Nomad Gate’s users, we now require any of our community members who want to offer services or products to other members to get verified.

To verify a user, we check such things as:

  • Personal identity document (e.g. passport or national ID card)
  • Business registration documents
  • Required licenses, if applicable (e.g. if someone claims to be a real estate agent, we’ll check their license)
  • Phone number

We will also ask some questions about their business, but we are not in any position to verify their competency or business ethics. You still need to do your own due diligence in that regard.

If you ever run into any problems with verified users, please contact us and we’ll help in any way we can.

How can you identify verified users?

You’ll see a green checkmark (Verified badge) next to their profile image across the community forum. They will also be listed on this page.

How can I contact verified users?

You may contact them via private message on the forum or via the contact form on their “verified page” (a link to which is usually listed in their user profile).

Keep in mind that getting verified does not grant you a license to spam the forums or other community members. The forum rules for irrelevant self-promotion still apply.
